By accessing or using Educator Companion™ ("the Platform"), operated by ORC Project House ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Educator Companion™ is an AI-powered educational platform that helps teachers create personalized, differentiated lessons and materials through guided conversation with an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude. The Platform stores teacher and class profiles to provide context-aware educational support.
Certain features of the Platform may generate teacher-facing guidance materials that reflect information provided by the teacher for instructional planning purposes. The Platform is intended as a support tool for educational professionals and does not constitute regulated professional advice for other sectors.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. One account per teacher; sharing accounts is not permitted. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account and for maintaining the security of the devices and systems you use to access the Platform.
Professional Review Required: All AI-generated content (lessons, materials, assessments, communications) must be reviewed by you before use with students. The Platform is designed to support your professional judgment, not replace it.
No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive for high-quality outputs, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying accuracy, appropriateness, and alignment with your curriculum requirements.
Your Materials: You retain full ownership of all materials you create using the Platform and may use them freely in your educational practice.
Teacher and Student-Facing Materials: Some outputs may be intended solely for teacher or professional use and may include student support information provided by the teacher. You are responsible for reviewing such materials before use and for ensuring that any materials shared with students do not unnecessarily disclose student personal data.
User Responsibility for Review: You acknowledge that content generated through the Platform may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and determining the suitability of any content before relying on it or using it in your teaching practice.
Our IP: The Companion™ methodology, platform design, and all underlying technology are the exclusive intellectual property of ORC Project House. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Platform's methodology or technology.
Your IP: You retain ownership of all content you create, including teacher profiles, class profiles, and generated materials. You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization from your school to enter student information into the Platform. You should only enter first names or nicknames and educational context. No last names, ID numbers, or sensitive personal identifiers should be entered.
You must not upload or enter unnecessary, excessive, or unauthorized student information. Where applicable law requires explicit consent for the entry of special category student data, you are responsible for ensuring that such requirements have been satisfied before using the Platform.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all outputs before use, and for determining whether such outputs are appropriate for your students, curriculum, and school policies.
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other users' data; share your account credentials; use the Platform to generate harmful, discriminatory, or inappropriate content; attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the Platform's AI prompts or methodology; upload malware or harmful content; interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure; use automated tools to harvest or extract data; use the Platform to build or improve competing products; impersonate another person or entity; or use the Platform for any commercial purpose beyond your own teaching practice without written permission.
Pilot Phase: Educator Companion™ is currently in active development. Features may change, and occasional service interruptions may occur. We will communicate significant changes in advance when possible.
No Uptime Guarantee: We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
ORC Project House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Fees applicable to paid features or subscriptions shall be specified on the pricing page or account screen at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are charged in advance for the relevant subscription period.
ORC Project House reserves the right to make prospective changes to its fees with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after a fee change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new fee.
If you qualify as a consumer within the meaning of Law No. 6502, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days from the date the contract is concluded, without giving any reason. However, once digital service performance has begun with your prior explicit consent, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
By You: You may stop using the Platform at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us at privacy@orcph.com.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that threatens the Platform's security or integrity.
Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
