By accessing or using Educator Companion™ ("the Platform"), operated by ORC Project House ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Educator Companion™ is an AI-powered educational platform that helps teachers create personalized, differentiated lessons and materials through guided conversation with an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude. The Platform stores teacher and class profiles to provide context-aware educational support.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. One account per teacher; sharing accounts is not permitted.
Professional Review Required: All AI-generated content (lessons, materials, assessments, communications) must be reviewed by you before use with students. The Platform is designed to support your professional judgment, not replace it.
No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive for high-quality outputs, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying accuracy, appropriateness, and alignment with your curriculum requirements.
Your Materials: You retain full ownership of all materials you create using the Platform and may use them freely in your educational practice.
Our IP: The Companion™ methodology, platform design, and all underlying technology are the exclusive intellectual property of ORC Project House. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Platform's methodology or technology.
Your IP: You retain ownership of all content you create, including teacher profiles, class profiles, and generated materials. You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization from your school to enter student information into the Platform. You should only enter first names and educational context (no last names, ID numbers, or sensitive personal identifiers). You must comply with your school's data protection policies and applicable privacy laws.
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other users' data; share your account credentials; use the Platform to generate harmful, discriminatory, or inappropriate content; attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the Platform's AI prompts or methodology; or use the Platform for any commercial purpose beyond your own teaching practice without written permission.
Pilot Phase: Educator Companion™ is currently in active development. Features may change, and occasional service interruptions may occur. We will communicate significant changes in advance when possible.
No Uptime Guarantee: We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
ORC Project House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
By You: You may stop using the Platform at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us at privacy@orcph.com.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that threatens the Platform's security or integrity.
Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
